Linkchime provides a hosted platform for branded links, QR codes, landing pages, and campaign analytics. This page summarizes how we think about privacy for visitors to this marketing site and for customers of the product.

We collect only what we need to operate the service: account details you provide, link and click metadata required for redirects and analytics, and standard technical logs for security and reliability.

We do not sell personal information. Access to customer data is limited to operating, securing, and improving the service. You can request account deletion through product support channels.

This summary is provided for transparency on our public website. Your order form, terms, or in-product notices may contain additional details that govern your account.

Browser extension: The Linkchime Chrome extension stores your API base URL, short-link base, workspace API key, default domain choice, and recently created short URLs in chrome.storage.local on your device only. When you create a link, it sends the destination URL and optional title or slug to the Linkchime API you configured (api.linkchime.com by default, or your self-hosted origin). Linkchime-operated servers do not receive a separate copy of your key or browsing history beyond what that API already stores for your account. Self-hosted deployments keep this traffic on your own server. The extension does not inject scripts into web pages.
