Quick shorten

What this is

Shorten a link on Home lets you paste a URL and get a short link in one step — without opening the full create form.

Before you start

• You're signed in and on Home.
• You have permission to create links in the active workspace.

Steps

1. Open Home from the sidebar.
2. Find the Shorten a link section.
3. Paste your full URL (including https://) into the URL field.
4. Optionally, type a custom path after the slash.
5. Click Shorten.

What happens next

Your short link is created and shown on screen. Copy it and share it anywhere. Clicks will appear in Insights.

Tips

• For more options (password, UTM tags, social preview), use Links → Create link instead — see Create a link.
• You can also click New link in the shortcuts section to open the full create form.
