Add and verify a domain

What this is

Connect your own domain so short links and landing pages use your brand's hostname instead of the default platform domain.

Before you start

• Custom domain support must be available on your plan.
• You have access to your domain's DNS settings.
• You haven't reached your plan's custom domain limit.

Steps

1. Open Domains from the sidebar.
2. Enter your domain in the field (for example go.yourcompany.com).
3. Click Add domain.
4. Configure DNS at your domain provider:
   • CNAME record — point your domain to the target shown
   • TXT record — add the ownership verification record shown
5. Wait for DNS to propagate (can take up to 48 hours, often much faster).
6. Back in {{productName}}, click Verify DNS.

What happens next

Once verified, the domain status changes to Verified. You can select it when creating links or landing pages.

Tips

• Use a subdomain (like go.example.com) rather than your root domain if unsure.
• Pending domains cannot be used for links until verification succeeds.
• Copy buttons next to DNS values make setup easier.
