Custom path and domain

What this is

Choose the path in your short URL (for example /launch) and optionally serve it from your own custom domain instead of the default platform domain.

Before you start

  • Custom paths require the Custom short paths feature on your plan.
  • Custom domains must be added and verified first — see Add and verify a domain.

Steps

  1. Open a link's Settings tab.
  2. Under Short link, set Custom path (4–64 characters: letters, numbers, hyphens, underscores).
  3. To use your own domain, select it from Short link domain.
  4. Click Save changes.

What happens next

Your link is available at the new short URL. Changing the path on a published link makes the old URL stop working.

Tips

  • Leave the path blank when creating a link to auto-generate a random one.
  • Pending domains (not yet verified) cannot be selected.
  • If the link has a QR code, changing the path updates the QR code URL.
