What this is

Each person in a workspace has a role that controls what they can do.

Roles

OwnerEverythingEverything, plus invites, API keys, and workspace settings
MemberLinks, Insights, domains, landing pagesCreate, edit, and delete links and content
AnalystLinks, Insights, domains, landing pagesNothing — read-only access

Before you start

  • You're the workspace owner (to change roles) or you've been invited to a workspace.

Steps

Change a member's role

  1. Open Workspace Settings.
  2. In the Members section, find the person.
  3. Change their role between Member and Analyst.

Remove a member

  1. In Members, click Remove next to the person.
  2. Confirm in the dialog.

What happens next

Role changes take effect immediately. Removed members lose access to the workspace.

Tips

  • Analysts see a "read-only" indicator in the user menu.
  • Only the owner can invite members, manage API keys, and change data policy settings.
  • Members and analysts can Leave workspace from Workspace Settings. Owners must Transfer ownership first (team workspaces only).

Leave a workspace

  1. Open Workspace Settings.
  2. At the bottom, click Leave workspace and confirm.

Transfer ownership

  1. Open Workspace Settings as the owner (not a personal workspace).
  2. In Sharing, pick a current member and click Transfer.
  3. You remain in the workspace as a member.
