Workspace roles
What this is
Each person in a workspace has a role that controls what they can do.
Roles
| Role | Can view | Can edit |
|---|---|---|
| Owner | Everything | Everything, plus invites, API keys, and workspace settings |
| Member | Links, Insights, domains, landing pages | Create, edit, and delete links and content |
| Analyst | Links, Insights, domains, landing pages | Nothing — read-only access |
Before you start
- You're the workspace owner (to change roles) or you've been invited to a workspace.
Steps
Change a member's role
- Open Workspace Settings.
- In the Members section, find the person.
- Change their role between Member and Analyst.
Remove a member
- In Members, click Remove next to the person.
- Confirm in the dialog.
What happens next
Role changes take effect immediately. Removed members lose access to the workspace.
Tips
- Analysts see a "read-only" indicator in the user menu.
- Only the owner can invite members, manage API keys, and change data policy settings.
- Members and analysts can Leave workspace from Workspace Settings. Owners must Transfer ownership first (team workspaces only).
Leave a workspace
- Open Workspace Settings.
- At the bottom, click Leave workspace and confirm.
Transfer ownership
- Open Workspace Settings as the owner (not a personal workspace).
- In Sharing, pick a current member and click Transfer.
- You remain in the workspace as a member.
