Delete and restore

What this is

Deleting a link turns off its short URL. Visitors get an error instead of being redirected. You can restore deleted links within 30 days.

Before you start

  • You have write access to the workspace.
  1. Open Links and find the link.
  2. Open the link's actions menu (or the link detail page).
  3. Click Delete.
  4. Confirm in the dialog.
  1. Open Links.
  2. Open Filters and set Status to Deleted.
  3. Find the link you want to restore.
  4. Open its actions menu and click Restore — or select multiple links and use Restore from the bulk toolbar.

What happens next

  • Delete — the short URL stops working immediately. The link stays in the Deleted filter for 30 days.
  • Restore — the link becomes live again (if Link active is on and it hasn't expired).

After 30 days, deleted links are permanently removed and cannot be restored.

Tips

  • Disabling a link (Link active off) is reversible without deleting — visitors see an unavailable page but you can turn it back on anytime.
  • Restored links count toward your plan's link limit.
